Hotel Es Turo in the south of Mallorca is one of the most popular hotels in our portfolio, so it's no surprise that we have visited this charming country hotel several times. Today we take you on our hotel check and tell you what to expect on site at Hotel Es Turo.

Metre-high cacti and lush vegetation

The country hotel Es Turo is located in the south of Mallorca. We pass the tranquil village of Ses Salines with its narrow streets and pavements decorated with orange trees, before we drive past meadows and fields and the dry stone walls so typical of Mallorca. Shortly afterwards we reach the country hotel Es Turo. Metre-high cacti line the path and give a first impression of what is about to await us.
From the car park we reach the main square of the finca hotel Es Turo. Numerous tables, loungers and armchairs in mint green and natural tones invite you to relax in the shade of the pine trees. In summer, guests enjoy breakfast outdoors on the cosy wicker chairs.

Rooms in various outbuildings

The 21 rooms are distributed between the main house and numerous small outbuildings spread around the grounds among pine trees, lush palms and giant cacti. The latest addition is a building about 300 metres from the main house. Here, in addition to a second pool, guests will find the large suites with separate living room and bedroom and small kitchen. But don't worry, those who don't like don't have to cater for themselves on holiday. All-day dining is available to guests at Es Turo - but more on that later.

All rooms now modernised

All rooms have been modernised bit by bit and now shine in a very cosy country house style with rustic wooden planks, vintage mirrors, comfortable beds with very comfortable mattresses, beautiful fabrics and pillows. In the bathroom, the enchanting vintage country house style continues. Checkerboard tiles, a whitewashed vanity and a walk-in rain shower promise a good start to the day.
Families love the Es Turo just as much as couples. Interesting for families: In addition to normal double rooms and junior suites (some with distant sea view), there are also junior suites deluxe and the already mentioned suites with kitchen and sea view, which have separate living rooms and bedrooms and thus offer enough space for families with children.

Lounges & sunbathing areas en mas

On the well-kept finca grounds there are many places that invite you to linger. First and foremost is the beautiful infinity pool with numerous loungers and daybeds. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the island to the nearby sea. Especially the sunset, accompanied by the lovely crackling of the cosy fire in the fire bowls, is a romantic highlight of the day at Fincahotel Es Turo.
If you like, you can use the spa area, which is admittedly quite small. But it's enough for a relaxing sauna or a soothing massage, and the small indoor pool (which can also be used with children) is a great change on chilly days.

The new Family Junior Suites

At the main house - close to the restaurant - are the four family suites (new name "Junior Suite Deluxe with Balcony"), which are especially popular with our clients with small children, as they have the best baby monitor reception here. The Family Junior Suites have been enlarged so that the suites are now divided between living room and bedroom on one level. In the living room, two children can now sleep comfortably on the cosy sofa bed. The family junior suites - just like the large suites in the slightly removed annexe - have been furnished with wooden floorboards, the same beautiful four-poster beds and modern bathrooms - all in a romantic vintage style - and radiate pure cosiness.

Restaurant with all-day menu

We particularly like the fact that there is actually a restaurant menu all day. That is rather rare for finca hotels. The day starts at Es Turo with an extensive breakfast, offering bread and rolls, cereals, sausage, cheese and fruit, as well as sparkling wine and salmon, and freshly prepared egg dishes as desired. During the day you can always order something to drink or some snacks like the delicious pamboli or, for example, the oven-warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, and in the evening there is a small menu and menus that change daily.

By the way, if you book half board at Es Turo, you can eat directly in the hotel or in the two Cassai restaurants, which are located in Ses Salines and Colonia Sant Jordi. Both restaurants continue the cosy vintage style that we already love so much in the hotel. A quick info at the hotel is all it takes to enjoy your dinner in one of the other two restaurants. Es Turo is rightly a very popular finca hotel in the south of Mallorca. Numerous charming places and beautiful beaches, such as the popular Es Trenc beach, are only a few minutes away by car.
