Description
In a quiet valley at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains in Northern Mallorca, you will find the small country hotel Monnaber Vell. With a fantastically large swimming pool and a beautiful palm garden it welcomes its guests in a relaxed atmosphere. This former farmhouse from the 13th Century has been lovingly restored. Thereby, many of the original elements were preserved and incorporated into modern comforts. Each of the 15 rooms and junior suites is individually decorated, whereby it was taken care that the rural character and charm is retained.
Even today, almonds, olives and figs are harvested on the 160 acre estate. Additionally, on the fields around the hotel 300 sheep graze. Monnaber Vell is the epitome of a romantic and typical Majorcan country hotel.
In the small but excellent restaurant, which -by the way- is located in a former donkey stable, there is an excellent morning breakfast in buffet form. At lunchtime, the chef Antonia Martin offers to her guests salads, snacks and Majorcan Pan amb Oli. In the evenings there is a choice of two delicious three-course menus.

On a regular basis there is a free tour through the historic part of the house followed by a wine tasting. Thereby, many Majorcan wines can be found on the menu. The hotel has also rooms with connecting doors available.
Relax in the sauna or meditation room of the finca.
Good to know:
In the hotel free bikes are available. A lockable garage and a small workshop area are also available.
The relaxation room of the sauna can be used as yoga room on request.
