The small, family-friendly Boutique Hotel Palazzo Guglielmo Albergo Diffuso is situated in the centre of the picturesque town Vignacastrisi in the south-east of Italy in the province of Lecce. The 13 rooms, a dreamlike beauiful garden with a refreshing swimming pool in the middle and several cosy places make sure, you can enjoy relaxing holidays in this coastal 4 star hotel in Apulia on the south east coast of Italy in Salento.
Already when entering the house of the 18th century, we feel the very special atmosphere, which this historical building spreads. Polished mable stairs, impressing arch ceiling, natural stone walls and carefully selected antiques match perfectly with the modern comforts and create an atmosphere of well-being. The house at the Piazza of the town Vignacastrisi was renovated very carefully in the year 2008, without losing its historical charm and transformed into today's Hotel Palazzo Guglielmo Albergo Diffuso. Host Sergio and his team welcomes you cordially in the small boutique hotel, which has 13 rooms, suites and apartments today. Each room has a different character. All were furnished with love and combine high ceiling, stone floors, light sandy colours, white fabrics and warm wooden details as well as selected, regional antiques. The suites have two rooms and are very suitable for families with children. All rooms offer a private access to the beautiful garden and all are equipped with a small table with chairs.
The lovely garden invites you to stay a while and relax. Impressing palm trees, fruit trees, and blooming flowers create a wonderful atmosphere. Relax at one of the many beautiful places in the garden and enjoy the soft perfume of the orange grove or the mediterranean flowers. Cosy lounge furniture under shady trees take care, you will spend your holidays in private and calm atmosphere. For refreshment, you find a small pool in the blooming garden. In the old granary of the house, a small SPA area with sauna, jacuzzi and turkish steam bath was created for your relaxation. On the first floor of the small Boutique Hotel you will find a very beautiful library, a cosy reading room and a bar, where you can help yourself with beverages at any time.
The comprehensive breakfast ist served between 8.30 am and 10.30 am in the hall of the hotel. Homemade cakes are offered as well as fresh egg variation. For lunch and dinner, the hotel's restaurant „Casa dell’Angelo“ is open for your on 6 days a week (sundays closed). At lunch, salads and snacks are served. In the evening, starting at 8.30 pm the restaurant opens to pamper you with traditionial dishes, which are made from local products. The menu changes daily and offers you italian cuisine, with pasta, meat, fresh fish and seafood. Of course there are also dishes for the small guests available.
