The hotel "Principal Son Amoixa" is dreamily situated in the vastness of a Mediterranean garden with almond, fig and peach trees near the town of Manacor on Mallorca. The stylish country hotel, close to the beach, welcomes the holidaymaker in a romantic idyll that is somewhat reminiscent of Tuscany. From the car park, a wide stone staircase leads up to the magnificent piazza, which forms the centre of the stately 16th century estate. Surrounding this stylish hotel is around 160,000 m2 of land, which includes a beautiful garden and fruit trees, as well as fields of grain.
Hotel Son Amoixa Vell was bought by the Haupt family in 2021. In addition to new operators, the hotel now also appears under a new name: "Principal Son Amoixa". Just in time for the reopening of the "Principal Son Amoixa" on 19.02.2022, the new and very committed operators have given the hotel, which has always been very popular, a new and modern polish. The hotel, which had recently become somewhat outdated, appears in new splendour. For months, they have been hammering, drilling and screwing with the aim of offering discerning guests a completely new holiday oasis from 2022 onwards, without sacrificing the previous values of the popular country hotel on Mallorca. Thus, regular guests will also see the entire staff of the past years again: Starting with Christine, the amiable guest manager, to Toni, the always charming head waiter. The entire team is highly motivated and is already looking forward to many great guests and a warm reunion.
The hotel "Principal Son Amoixa" has 17 rooms furnished with modern, contemporary furniture and every comfort. Some of them have terraces and rooms 4, 5 and 8 have sea views. A relaxed holiday atmosphere guarantees unforgettable days in this four-star finca hotel. The Principal Son Amoixa wants its guests to feel welcome and pampered from the very first minute. To this end, fresh fruit and a bottle of cava are provided in the rooms and suites upon arrival. A stay at the Principal Son Amoixa is a holiday for body, mind and soul. Massage specialists and various wellness treatments as well as sauna ensure complete relaxation.
There is much to see and discover around the large finca. Hobby cave explorers can discover the Coves del Drac near Porto Cristo after a drive of only 20 minutes. Besides Manacor, where there is a weekly market on Mondays, the coastal town of Porto Cristo with its harbour and narrow, sheltered bay is also worth a visit. Here, a weekly market is held every Tuesday on the Passeig de la Sirena. Also worth a visit is the Talaiotic village of S'Illot. Many beautiful beaches, such as the extensive sandy beach in Cala Millor or the small idyllic bay of Cala Petita, await sun and sea lovers in the surrounding area.
