The beautiful country hotel is located near Llucmajor in the southwest of Mallorca, close to the island's capital Palma, and is housed in a dreamlike 15th century villa. The Son Julia country hotel was newly opened in 2006 and has 32 spacious rooms and suites with luxurious marble bathrooms and individual furnishings combined with the latest technology. All rooms and suites at the Son Julia Country House Hotel offer magnificent views from the balcony or terrace.
Amidst the 150,000 m2 grounds and 300-year-old, beautifully maintained garden, there are many places for guests to relax. Walking around the magnificent estate, guests can discover many idyllic spots and enjoy preserved original components of the old villa despite its restoration. For example, the estate's fountain and the old stone archways have been preserved.
The Son Julia Country House Hotel also delights with its varied and excellent gastronomy. The restaurant serves dishes prepared with fresh products from the market. Thanks to the purist cuisine, the smells and flavours of the main ingredients are preserved. Delicate wines accompany the exquisite dishes. Next to the swimming pool is the pool bar, which serves drinks, cocktails and ice cream in the summer season.
The location of the Fincahotel Son Julia is perfect to fulfil all holiday wishes. The beautiful natural beach Es Trenc is less than 20 minutes away by car. The white sand and the turquoise blue sea offer true bathing pleasure. The beautiful bay of Cala Pi is also less than half an hour's drive from Son Julia. If you want to experience art and culture, drive to the island capital Palma, 25 kilometres away. But there is also plenty to see in the nearest town of Llucmajor, such as the 18th century church of San Miguel, the monument to Jaume III and the monument to the shoemakers. In addition, the small town offers a nice market three times a week (Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays).
