Description
Only the chirping of birds, the blocks of sheep or goats´ melodious bell breaks the silence on the way to the magical Finca Albellons. The path is lined with hundreds of olive trees, which have found place in the stony rock. Sheep and goats cross the road and stand up slowly when passing. Once at the top, the visitor is awaited by the beautiful Country Hotel Finca Albellons, with its main house and the small outbuildings, which are successfully integrated into nature with their impressive stone facades. Up here, on the southern slope of the Sierra de Tramuntana, is the perfect place for stress refugees and those who want to become one with nature and themselves.
In Finca Albellons the morning starts with a rich breakfast buffet with meat, cheese, fruits and Majorcan dishes on the restaurant's large restaurant terrace. Here, overlooking the valley and in the midst of indescribable tranquility, guests start their holiday in a relaxed way. Later, a refreshing pool with a fantastic landscape view attracts the guests. For relaxation in the cooler season, there is also a sauna available. Those who prefer to be active will enjoy the numerous beautiful hiking trails around the hotel. Once a week, the hotel also offers a free guided hike.
After an active day, guests can enjoy a rich dinner. Of course, on Finca Albellons cooking takes place in the traditional Majorcan manner. The food is made mostly of natural farm products from own cultivation. The spacious restaurant terrace offers beautiful scenery for dinner. If at night, only the chirping of crickets breaks the silence and a sea of lights is flickering on the horizon, the day can be completed in a relaxed way with a fine glass of wine.
