It has only 20 rooms, from which six have their own terrace, facing the garden and another 12 facing the pool. The two spacious suites in the upper floor (one with terrace) have view to the historical courtyard with its prominent, knobby carobs.

The interior of the cosy rooms is inspired by ancient construction techniques, hereby historical materials were used. This way, a warm and modern rural hotel was created, with natural stone walls, wooden beam from chestnut and ceilings with reed. Soft colours add to the simple elegance of the rural hotel in Sicily.

The prominent garden of the rural hotel is magnificent, with its tall palm trees, lemon trees and orange trees. If you spend your day at the refreshing pool, you can enjoy the calmness and the smell of the blooming orange trees, jasmine, mint and lavender. The day at Cambiocavallo Unesco Area & Resort starts with a delicious organic breakfast under the shade of the carobs at the red table in style of a sicilian „buffetta“. Enjoy the self-made lemon jam, the fresh eggs from the region, honey, cakes and cookies and cheese from local farmers. In the evening, guests get served with delicious sicilian meals, with a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian food, on prior request. Gluten-free food is available, too.

Good to know:
In 1963, the region Val di Noto, in which the town Modica is situated, was destroyed by an earthquake. After this, it was rebuilt in the baroque style of the 18th century. Eight cities in this region were certified as Unesco World Heritage in 2002.
