The vineyard and farm Borgo Casa al Vento is situated on a hill and offers - besides a vineyard - 23 rooms and apartments for guests. With its gorgeous panoramic view to green fields and meadows, olive groves and vineyards, the small rural hotel in Tuscany is a perfect oasis, to recharge your batteries and to enjoy the authentical tuscan rural life. In the 90s, family Gioffreda has carefully renovated the estate and kept its original charm. Today, several historical stone houses in traditional architecture are waiting for you on this estate in which the rooms and apartments and the wine cellar can be found.
The rooms are all individually furnished and enchant with a cosy, romantic ambience. Warm colours, typical massive wooden beam ceilings, terracotta floors and antique wooden furniture create an atmosphere of well-being.
The day at hotel Borgo Casa al Vento starts with a small, typical italian breakfast. In the evening, you get served a delicious menu in the hotel's restaurant, which gives you an insight into the authentical, tuscan cuisine with its local products, delicious, homemade olive oil and accompanied by the hotel's wine. On request, you can take part in wine tastings or cooking classes, to get to know more about the tuscan cuisine.
From mid of May until mid of October you can use the beautiful pool area of the romantical hotel close to Siena. Here, you will enjoy a heavenly calmness in the midst of nature and can unwind while having a bath or reading a book. A small spa area gives you the possibility to relax in the sauna or while having a massage, or to get pampered at a wine and aroma therapy.
